Long awaited update...

It's been FOREVER since I have posted anything but our lives are SO busy now. I can't believe that William will be 9 months old tomorrow. It seems like I just brought him home and he was so teeny. Now he is a BIG boy and has started pulling up on everything. I don't think it will be long and he'll be walking. He is also saying "Dada" and "Bubba". Yes, thats right, no "mama" yet. Madyson has always called him Bubba and Cliff and I call him that most of the time too. So I'm guessing that's why he is saying that.

We were walking through Target last week and Will was saying, "Dada, dada, dada, dada....." and on and on. So I started saying right along with him, "Mama, mama, mama, mama,...". I had more than one person laugh as they passed by us. I can't wait to hear those sweet words.

Madyson is doing great as well. She started preschool @ Vaughn Forest this year, two days a week. She LOVES it. She wakes up every morning asking if she can go see all her friends. She has also turned into a Miss Priss. I wonder where she got that from? haha! She is such a little momma. She loves to help me with Will but she also loves to tell me when he is doing something he isn't supposed to be doing and especially when he gets near anything that belongs to her. We are working on this sharing thing.

They spent some time with my parents this weekend while I have been working. Apparently, Madyson has been telling William not to do something and following that with "Did you hear what I said?". Wonder if she's heard that before? haha!

Well, I guess thats it for now. I promise to be better @ keeping this blog updated in the future.

Our Little Man!

Poor Thing

Madyson is sick and it stinks. As you know, she is 18 months old, and she can't tell me exactly how she is feeling. I feel so helpless. Last night she finally got some sleep after I sent Cliff to Wal-Mart at midnight to get some Dimetapp. I just gave her half the dose but that helped. We set up the humidifier also. I was sick at the beginning of the week with a stuffy nose and some congestion. I am feeling so much better and now my poor baby is under the weather. Thursday night neither she nor I got any sleep. Everytime I laid her down she woke up, screaming. I'm guessing she was so congested and that she couldn't breathe when laid flat. The good thing is no fever and still just clear nasal drainage. She and I slept on the couch propped up on two pillows. I know this will pass in a day or two but it is so hard to watch one of your babies suffer. She is sleeping in her own bed tonight and has not woken up since I put her down.
Hopefully she will be feeling better tomorrow. We have church in the morning and I am definitely not sending her to the nursery. I know she isn't contagious, but I wouldn't want another child in there with her if they had a snotty, runny nose. We will keep her with us in LCBF (Life Changing Bible Fellowship) and then decide if we will go to the service or home. Hopefully we can just keep her with us during the service. Maybe we can just sit at the back so we can step out if need be. Cross your fingers.
As I finish writing this, guess what?... Cliff says he has a sore throat. Crap!

About our family!

Well, this is a first. I have never done a blog before, but it seemed like it might be fun. So here we go...

Today, I am 20 weeks and 2 days pregnant with our second child. We are super excited. We found out last week it is a BOY!! His name is William Thomas. Cliff and I have an 18 month old little girl named Madyson Denise. She is a very outgoing, independent child. She loves to GO, GO, GO! The only time she is still is if she is sleeping. Let's all hope that Will might be alittle more laid back. This will be one crazy house if he and Mady both are bouncing off the walls at all times. HAHA!

I LOVE my life. Cliff and I have been married 5 years this past December. We met on a blind date and have been together ever since. We feel so blessed by the life God has granted us. He continues to bless us each and every day. We realize God brought us together and it was no accident.
